When we love I hear a beautiful symphony
When we love I see quiet candlelight
When we love I touch shooting stars
When we love I taste sweet honey
When we love I feel heavens embrace
The blue of the moonlit night matched the blues in his head
Like Robert Johnson at the Crossroads signing away his soul

I want to live in a meadowed forest
In the branched and welcoming trees
To wake anew and brightly each morning
And feel dawn’s gentle and freshly breeze
I know a secret place on a forested river
It is there I met my precious lover
Stars shifted as our lips met
The moon rose but did not set
We weaved magic under the arch
Our love became a spring day in March
Like a lone tree in a lavender field
I am entranced by your beauty
Like a lone cloud in an asure sky
I am astounded by your depth
Like a lone island in a glacier lake
I am enveloped by your love
The resturant had become a metaphor
Once it was full of laughter and music
Now it was silent
The walls faded and worn
Like the memories of their love
As a child the plaza was his castle
Fabled ancestors on the wall
As a man the plaza was a symbol
Of his innocence after the fall

Alone I walk the forest greenly
Wanting to share it with you
Alone I hear the pines serenely
Wanting to breathe it with you
Alone I see the path brightly
Wanting to dance it with you

After the storm passed you became my shining sun
After the storm passed you became my scented lilacs
After the storm passed you became my morning dew
After the storm passed you became my golden path
After the storm passed I fell in love with you
My heart has many colors
Orange, yellow and blue
Brightly arched chambers
Yearning, my love, for you
Like the autumn leaves from the trees
The chair symbolized the end of a season
The end of warmth and a summer love
Left him searching for the reason
Live with me on the edge of a lake in a house of wood and stone
The forest will embrace us and keep us from feeling alone
The fire in the fireplace will reflect our flames of love
As we wake each morning to the call of a snow white dove

I followed the sun to your tropical isle
A pathway over water to guide me
We drank of wine and ate of fruit
And made sweet love beside the sea
SHE SLEPT NEXT TO THE MIRRORED WALL
HOPING THE REFLECTION OF HER DREAMS
WOULD GIVE HER SOME UNDERSTANDING
OF A LIFE THAT ONLY LOVE REDEEMS

YOU WEDGED YOUR WAY INTO MY HEART
THE MELODIOUS SONG FROM YOUR LOVING SUITE
LEFT ME VULNERABLE TO CUPIDS DART
